These Terms of Service govern your use of the Crystal Blue Press website, products, and subscriptions, including Otter Pups Club, Professor Flash Pro, and all digital products we offer. By purchasing or using our products, you agree to these terms.
Crystal Blue Press ("CBP," "we," "us") provides digital, faith-rooted content and software for families, including monthly subscription publications delivered as downloadable PDF files, and Professor Flash Pro, a homeschool management platform. No physical goods are sold or shipped. Products are intended for personal, family, and educational use.
Subscription products (such as Otter Pups Club and Professor Flash Pro's monthly plan) bill automatically on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. All payments are processed securely by Paddle, acting as our merchant of record, who may also handle applicable sales tax or VAT depending on your location.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on charges and refunds.
Professor Flash Pro requires a one-time $500 platform license, which grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the Professor Flash Pro platform for your family. This license is required before the monthly plan can be activated. A monthly subscription is separately required for continued hosting and curriculum content access — including both the Homeschool Quests (HSQ) and Family Discipleship Pro (FDP) content libraries, both included at the same price; the platform license itself does not include ongoing hosting.
If you cancel your monthly subscription, your account switches to read-only: you retain the ability to log in and view your existing data (calendar, grades, transcripts, and lesson history), but AI-powered features (Curriculum Generator, Study Buddy, Know & Grow) are disabled, and you cannot add or modify data — new students, lessons, grades, or calendar events — until you resubscribe. Your one-time license itself is never revoked, and reactivating a monthly plan at any time restores full functionality without requiring you to repurchase your license.
Content and data you enter into Professor Flash Pro — including student names, grades, and curriculum records — remains yours. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information (such as grades, attendance, or transcripts) you generate and rely on for your own recordkeeping or compliance purposes; see our State Shield feature disclaimer within the platform for more detail.
When you purchase a CBP product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to download, print, and use that product for yourself, your family, or your classroom. You may not:
All stories, characters (including Finn, Ollie, Lila, Kodiak, Jasper, and Sunny), artwork, written content, and the Professor Flash Pro software itself are the property of Crystal Blue Press and may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission.
Our products are created from a Christian, faith-centered perspective, including content reflecting the values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is disclosed here so customers know what to expect from our content. Professor Flash Pro's Homeschool Quests (HSQ) curriculum is values-focused and secular-friendly; the optional Family Discipleship Pro (FDP) add-on contains explicitly Christian, scripture-based content.
We may update these terms, our product lineup, or pricing from time to time. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Crystal Blue Press products are provided "as is." While we take care in everything we create, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of our products, including any reliance on Professor Flash Pro's general compliance guidance in place of official state requirements.
